GOOD Based on 179 reviews D. Chow2024-05-23Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The freshest curds for poutine you can get since they’re made on site (and other restaurants use them too). When you walk in you can smell the smoker at work. The poutine here is good.. the caveats being sometimes the fries are unevenly cooked. Some are nice a crispy while others are undercooked and soggy. Which is too bad since the gravy and curds are excellent. The pizza (tried the meatlovers) doesn’t skimp on the toppings either, with the crust between thick Alberta style and thin- on the thinner side but sturdy to hold up to all the toppings. S. With the fresh cheese curds; made daily next door at the Cheese Factory, and the fresh cut fries, done just right, I was in heaven! I used to love LaPoutine, but these guys blow them out of the water! Sorry LP, but these guys have cornered the market with the fresh cheese curds, they are to die for! The beauty of the Cheese Factory being right next door, you can also pick up your own cheese to take home with you as well. I noticed they have a bit of a shopping experience going on over there as well; I'm going to check it out after I'm done, as they are also connected to the shop, just walk over and have at'er! I can't wait to try the pizza here next... The only thing about the service here is; you pay for your food first, so that means tipping before you get your food, then other than getting your food from the person that took your order, there is no follow up after the first few bites... what was the tip for really? That's my pet peeve about tipping before you get the product, if you don't get good service or product afterwards, you just tipped 15% or more for it! In my case, the person gave me my order, and that was the last I saw of them! And for the choice at the bottom for me to pick on this review; I dined in, as well as took my food to go, I placed a large order for leftovers later, because I looooove poutine! I will choose "Dine in." Erin Mogg2024-05-01Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Got the classic poutine, it’s okay, but not great. It’s flat and borderline bland. Honestly, Costco poutine is better. Also note that the store smells SO STRONGLY of smoke that it caused me a migraine. Literally felt like I was sitting inside a bag of hickory sticks. Brutally honest Reviews2024-04-19Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Traditional poutine the gravy was nice and hot and very generous with the cheese curds. 8.6 out of 10 it’s my #2 spot so far for the poutine Pepperoni Pizza 6.8 out of 10 too much pepperoni over powering the sauce, cheese and crust flavours Montreal meat sandwich 7.5 out of 10 Tim Skrepnek2024-04-19Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Poutine was small for what we paid fries were not fresh and not much flavor to the gravy the curds were good tho. Thank you for fixing my order R Marie2024-03-31Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This place is just so great! But I had a pretty bad experience recently which makes me not want to come back at all. Today my family and I wanted to buy cheese curds there and unfortunately there was no more fresh ones which is totally fine so we grabbed the frozen ones obviously. But the “new manager” of the place told us that the cheese curds factory was closed so we could only buy it with cash?! This has never happened to us before and we were really disappointed. She even tried to make us go to Safeway to get cheese curds instead of just letting us buy the cheese curds at the counter with our cards. The old managers have always been the sweetest but this tall, chubby and mixed looking race woman just made it look like she couldn’t care less about the business or their clients. She was disrespectful and answered with an attitude. Very disappointed. Christopher King2024-03-26Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Je me souviens... Mann oh mann.. what a decline.. i remember this place was a touch of Quebec.. water downed sauce in the poutine... cheap on the meat for the club sandwich...hair on my plate... the place was smoked out as if something caught fire.. gave me an instant headache. My clothes smell like a camp fire now!! Like how could you mess up the 2 easiest food plates probably in the industry.
